The Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach Recognized as a Top 100 Best Al Fresco Restaurant in America in 2018 by OpenTable

June 25, 2018 –Pensacola Beach, Fl—To ring in the first day of summer, Open Table recently unveiled its annual listing of the top 100 Al Fresco restaurants in America for 2018 and The Grand Marlin on Pensacola Beach was recognized. The Grand Marlin is the only restaurant in Northwest Florida to receive the award.

The listing highlights restaurants that offer stunning views, delicious menus and, above all else, incredible outdoor dining experiences.
“We strive daily to create a truly unique dining experience for our guests. We are humbled to be recognized with this distinction,” said Bryan Housley, Operating Partner and President of The Grand Marlin.

The list of honorees was selected from more than 12 million verified Open Table user reviews of more than 27,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington D.C.
Reviews were collected between May 1, 2017, and April 30, 2018. All restaurants with a minimum overall score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Those that qualified were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews for which outdoor dining was selected as a special feature.

The complete list features winning restaurants in 22 states. Not surprisingly, Florida dominated the list for Southern states, with 26 restaurants total.

“From picturesque restaurants with shaded terraces to vibrant rooftops and sidewalk cafés, this year’s list showcases the spots that take the al fresco experience to the next level,” said Caroline Potter, Open Table’s Chief Dining Officer, in a company press release.
