Spooktacular Specials and Family-Friendly Activities Offered at the 21st Annual “Halloween at the Museum” Event

10 a.m. Saturday, October 26

Pensacola, Fla. – (October 8, 2019) Ghouls and ghosts of all ages are invited to attend the free, fun-filled, family-friendly 21st annual Halloween at the Museum event on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Blue Angels Atrium at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume and explore the Museum’s 350,000 square feet of exhibit space.

There will be hands-on activities and candy for the kids set up in the Blue Angels Atrium. Supporting organizations participating in the event include the Flight Adventure Deck, NAS Pensacola Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), Pensacola MESS Hall, Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Pensacola Ice Flyers, Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Keep Pensacola Beautiful and Sam’s Fun City.

Children dressed in costume will be admitted for FREE to “The Magic of Flight” in the Giant Screen Theater when accompanied by a paying adult. In addition, families can enjoy “buy one, get one FREE” popcorn from the Giant Screen Theater refreshment counter; a FREE ride to the new Apollo 11 Virtual Reality experience with a paying adult; and a FREE Blue Angel 4D experience with a paying adult.

Daring museum visitors can take rides on the “Superstition” motion-based simulator ride bundled with a custom dog tag for only $8, as well as a special 10% discount to the Museum’s Flight Deck Store.

Blue Wahoos’ Kazoo, Ice Flyer’s Maverick and the Florida Forest Service’s Smoky Bear will make special appearances during the mascot meet-and-greet in the Blue Angels Atrium.
