Four Winds International Market Celebrates Grand Reopening with a Weeklong Oktoberfest Extravaganza!

PENSACOLA, Fla. (September 24, 2024) — Four Winds International Market, a beloved Pensacola institution for over 40 years, is thrilled to announce its grand reopening with a weeklong Oktoberfest celebration, showcasing the best of German culture and cuisine.

Since 1981, Four Winds has served the community with international fare at its 6895 N. Ninth Ave., Suite F location. After temporarily closing for renovations over the summer, the market recently reopened with a fresh, revitalized shopping and dining experience, culminating in an exciting week of events planned for September 29 to October 6.

Local entrepreneurs and longtime Four Winds patrons, Carl Spear and Katie Gilbert-Spear, took ownership of the market after the previous owner retired. Their love for the store’s unique offerings inspired them to preserve its legacy while bringing a refreshed approach to the market.

• Sunday, September 29 – Four Winds Passport Loyalty Program Launch

• Monday, September 30 – “Look What Just Blew In” from Germany

This month’s new arrivals – celebrate all things Oktoberfest all day long with mini-kegs, collectible steins, and authentic German delicacies, including Westphalian Ham, Usinger’s Brats, Blood Tongue, Head Cheese and more.

• Tuesday, October 1 –Wine Flight Night – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  Savor a selection of German Rieslings paired with a specially-crafted German-inspired charcuterie board, perfect for exploring the rich flavors of Germany.

• Wednesday, October 2 –Beer Flight Night – 5:30 to 7 p.m.
  Enjoy a complimentary tasting of classic German beers, including Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier, Weihenstephaner Pilsner, Hofbräu Hefeweizen, and Krombacher Hell, during Four Winds’ inaugural monthly beer flight night.

• Thursday, October 3 – Attend the first Four Winds Travel Club Gathering -5:30-7 p.m.

Host Teresa McNeill of the Love Travel Collection, will present a night of Oktoberfest fun and ‘Edutainment.’ Attendees get an extra entry into the Trip giveaway on Saturday.

• Friday, October 4 – Discover Four Winds’ New Menu Offerings

Partake in Four Winds’ new menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a special Grand Reopening Buy One, Get One Free offer.

• Saturday, October 5 – Oktoberfest Grand Reopening Day
  • German-style breakfast – 7 to 11 a.m.
