Sun Belt Conference’s Road to Pensacola Nearing Final Stretch

Pensacola, Fla. (February 25, 2022) – The NCAA Division 1 Sun Belt Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships begin next Wednesday, March 2, at the Pensacola Bay Center.
All 12 men’s and all 12 women’s teams will compete in the single-elimination tournament with the two winners earning automatic bids into the NCAA Tournament.
The Sun Belt Men’s and Women’s Basketball regular seasons finish this weekend. Brackets will be posted Friday night for the SBC men’s tournament and Saturday night for the women’s tournament.

Each individual member of the media requesting a credential (in person or virtual) must fill out the online media credential application. This ensures all media representatives will receive event-specific information before, during and after the tournament games in Pensacola.

All press conferences will be conducted in person and via Zoom. A credential is required for in-person or virtual attendance. Appropriate credentials are also required for all working photographers and videographers, who may only shoot from approved photo box areas.
