PENSACOLA, Fla. (Feb. 28, 2025) – Get ready, Pensacola—March Mayhem starts here! The Sun Belt Conference (SBC) Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championships return to the Pensacola Bay Center for the fifth straight year, bringing seven days of high-energy hoops, fan-friendly events, and can’t-miss promotions from March 4-10.
With 28 teams—14 men’s and 14 women’s—battling it out in 26 action-packed games, the stakes couldn’t be higher as two teams earn their way to the Big Dance. But the fun doesn’t stop on the court—fans of all ages can take part in special promotions, theme days, and the free Kia Autosport of Pensacola Fan Fest.
Theme Days & Special Promotions:
Mardi Gras Day – Tuesday, March 4
Show your festive spirit! Fans wearing purple, green, or gold can purchase buy one, get one free tickets ($25 or $15 seats).Education Day – Wednesday, March 5
Escambia and Santa Rosa County students and teachers score big with $5 tickets ($25 or $15 seats).Youth Day – Thursday, March 6
Kids eighth grade and younger enjoy FREE admission ($25 or $15 seats).Military Appreciation Day – Friday, March 7
Thank you for your service! Active and retired military members with a valid ID get $5 tickets ($25 or $15 seats).Fan Fest & Dribble Drive – Saturday, March 8
Join the free Kia Autosport of Pensacola Fan Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Pensacola Bay Center for food vendors, music, and family fun.Young fans (ages 3-12) can also participate in the free Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Dribble Drive—a unique on-court experience! Participants get a free t-shirt, basketball, and two tickets to the quarterfinal games. Registration is limited to 650 participants at SunBeltSports.org/DribbleDrive.
Semifinal Sunday – Sunday, March 9
The pressure is on Semifinal Sunday, where eight teams will vie for the opportunity to compete for a Sun Belt tournament title on national television on Championship Monday!Championship Monday – Monday, March 10
It all comes down to this—two teams cut down the nets and punch their tickets to March Madness! Watch the women’s championship game live on ESPN2 at 1 p.m. CT and the men’s championship game on ESPN/ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CT. Both games will feature a special halftime performance by contemporary violinist Dominique Hammons.
