Pensacola Attorneys Receive High Honors

Pensacola, Fla. (June 22, 2020) – Super Lawyers recently recognized five attorneys from the law firm of Whibbs Stone Barnett in Pensacola.

Donovan Whibbs, Scott Stone, Ryan Barnett, Richard Turner and Gregory Whibbs Jr. were each recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine, which is published in all 50 states and in England and distributed to attorneys.

Super Lawyers, a Thomas Reuters business, is a rating service from more than 70 practice areas of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated professional achievement in their field. Every year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive Super Lawyer status.

The Rising Star list is the result of an exhaustive, multi-phase selection process that mirrors the patented methodology used to assemble the Super Lawyers list. Attorneys designated as Rising Stars are up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years of age or younger and have practiced law for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team to receive this honor.

The annual selections are made using a patented multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazine and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country. Super Lawyers Magazine also feature editorial profiles of attorneys who embody excellence in the practice of law.
