Only a Few Seats Left for National Flight Academy’s Summer STEM Adventures!

Pensacola, Fla. – (May 23, 2025) – The countdown is on for an unforgettable summer at National Flight Academy in Pensacola, Fla., where students in grades 7–12 can take learning to new heights—literally. With only a few spots remaining, future aviators are encouraged to enroll now for one of two remaining six-day summer sessions: July 20–25 and July 27–August 1.

This immersive program transforms the traditional summer camp experience into an exciting, hands-on adventure in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Students will live aboard the virtual aircraft carrier AMBITION CVT-11, experiencing the thrill of aviation in an environment that mirrors the technology and teamwork of a modern aircraft carrier.

From day one, cadets are challenged with increasingly complex missions designed to develop their critical thinking, leadership, communication, and collaborative skills. Participants engage in advanced flight simulation, air traffic control operations, and aircraft maintenance activities—all while having a blast in a high-energy, team-oriented setting.

“We’re not just preparing students for future careers—we’re inspiring them to dream big and explore the possibilities of STEM in the real world,” said Rear Adm. Kyle Cozad, president and CEO of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. “It’s not just a camp—it’s an experience that changes lives.”

Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the most unique STEM programs in the country. Seats are extremely limited, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

About the National Flight Academy

The National Flight Academy, located in Pensacola, Fla., aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, is designed to address the serious concerns of declining Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills and standards in our country. The Academy’s mission is to inspire students who subsequently return to their parent schools and seek out the more challenging courses in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The NFA is a self-supporting, tuition-based educational program. We welcome support from individuals, corporations and foundations for both our scholarship program and general operation funds. The National Flight Academy, a program of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation Inc., is authorized but not endorsed or funded by the U.S. Navy or U.S. Government.
