National Naval Aviation Museum to Host 101st Birthday Celebration for WWII Veteran Lt. Cmdr. Cash Barber

Pensacola, FL – April 14, 2025 – The National Naval Aviation Museum is delighted to extend an invitation to the media to join us for a special celebration honoring the 101st birthday of WWII veteran Lt. Cmdr. Cash Barber.

Lt. Cmdr. Barber, a distinguished WWII Navy veteran, will be celebrated on the Cabot Flight Deck at the National Naval Aviation Museum. Renowned for his remarkable service and dedication, he continues to inspire visitors every Tuesday by sharing his captivating stories in front of the PBY-5 Catalina aircraft that he piloted during WWII. Even at 101 years old, Lt. Cmdr. Barber remains committed to his weekly tours, captivating museum visitors with his firsthand accounts of history.
