Pensacola Beach Fourth of July Fireworks Display Moves to 9 p.m.
Tune into Cat Country 98.7 FM for Live Simulcast
Pensacola, Fla. (June 22, 2023) – The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce is pushing back its Fourth of July Fireworks display over the Santa Rosa Sound to begin at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. This year, the Beach Chamber is joining forces with the Downtown Pensacola fireworks show, creating a spectacular dual Independence Day celebration in the sky!
Both fireworks shows will be simulcast live on Cat Country 98.7 radio station. Event-goers are asked to tune into the station starting at 9 p.m. for the singing of the National Anthem, followed by patriotic music to accompany both firework displays.
“The Pensacola Beach Chamber is thrilled to announce that the beach fireworks show will coincide with the downtown fireworks show,” said Meg Peltier, President and CEO of the Beach Chamber. “This 4th of July, by land or sea, tune into Cat Country 98.7 at 9 p.m. as both shows will be in sync to patriotic music for the first time!”
The beach fireworks show is set to immediately follow the Santa Rosa Island Authority’s (SRIA) Bands on the Beach concert, featuring Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs, from the Gulfside Pavilion on Casino Beach.
The 2023 July 4th Fireworks Show takes place sound side along the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk and is sponsored by the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce, SRIA, Escambia County, Patti Marine, Inc., and Cat Country 98.7.
