New Musculoskeletal Development Technology Now Available at Gulf Breeze Health CenterOsteoStrong® Grand Opening Celebration to be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020
PENSACOLA, FLA. (June 8, 2020) – OsteoStrong® Gulf Breeze, a new health center specifically designed for musculoskeletal strength conditioning, is hosting a grand opening celebration on Tuesday, June 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at its new location – 880 Gulf Breeze Parkway.
Shauna Osborne, owner of the newly opened Gulf Breeze franchise, is excited to show the community the positive impact the OsteoStrong® system can deliver.
“After being diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 55, and personally experiencing the impact that OsteoStrong® has had on my overall health, I decided to invest in this new technology and open up a Gulf Breeze location,” said Osborne. “I’m excited to help others, particularly women, improve their overall strength, balance, and bone health using this new Spectrum System technology. If I can do it, you can too.”
Approximately 10 million Americans have osteoporosis and another 44 million have low bone density, placing them at increased risk. This means that half of all adults age 50 and older are at risk of breaking a bone and should be concerned about bone health. Of the estimated 10 million Americans with osteoporosis, about eight million or 80% are women. Approximately one in two women over age 50 will break a bone because of osteoporosis. A woman’s risk of breaking a hip is equal to her combined risk of breast, uterine and ovarian cancer.
OsteoStrong® is for people of all ages and activity levels. Osteostrong® members have experienced reversal of osteoporosis and Type II diabetes, as well as alleviatedback and joint pain within the skeletal system, by rapidly increasing bone tissue and density. To do this, OsteoStrong® uses a series of Robotic Musculoskeletal Development System (RMDS) devices that compress an individual’s bones to emulate the effect of impact. During these safe, painless, minute-long sessions, known as osteogenic loading, members experience four to 10 times their own bodyweight, without injury, triggering the development of healthy new bone tissue. The four-device circuit takes less than 10 minutes to complete, once a week.
Osborne hopes to educate the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze communities on the importance and life-improving impact of good bone health, and invites anyone to come into the center, meet the staff, learn about its services, and get an overall assessment and free session at the new facility.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, followed by an open house with session demonstrations, hydromassages, raffle prizes and one lucky winner will receive a free yearlong membership.

ABOUT OSTEOSTRONG
OsteoStrong® is a membership-based integrative health and wellness center with a focus on musculoskeletal strengthening. OsteoStrong’s four-device circuit takes only minutes to complete, once a week. Under the direction of a skilled technician, users engage in a safe, controlled movement on each device that results in a stimulus to the central nervous system, triggering osteogenesis or new bone growth. Each device provides instant biofeedback with a member’s impact emulation for exertion measured in pounds and multiples of body weight. Data is recorded and a repot is sent to the member detailing their progress at the conclusion of each session.
