Lighted Boat Parade Rescheduled Due to Weather

Friday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Pensacola, Fla. (December 2, 2025) – Due to a 95% chance of rain on Friday, Dec. 5, the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled the 2025 Lighted Boat Parade to Friday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m.

The parade will still set sail from Sabine Marina in Little Sabine Bay, making a festive loop through the Santa Rosa Sound and the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk area, returning to Sabine Marina in a dazzling display of holiday cheer.

After the parade, Santa — joined this year by Mrs. “Mermaid” Claus — will greet children aboard his sleigh at the Quietwater Shell from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., with a fireworks show over the Santa Rosa Sound sponsored by the Boardwalk Merchants Association from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Spectators can view the parade from Little Sabine, the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk, or along the parade route. Boats of all sizes are competing for “Most Merry” and “Best of Show” awards.

The Captain’s Meeting will still take place as originally planned on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. at the Sandshaker Lounge.
