17 Oct Pensacola Interstate Fair Assisting Hurricane Michael Relief Efforts
October 17, 2018 –Pensacola, Fl—In an effort to assist Hurricane Michael relief efforts and help those affected by the disaster, thePensacola Interstate Fair will be donating a portion of the proceeds from admission ticket sales on Thursday, Oct. 25, to Feeding the Gulf Coast. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the 501(c)(3) non-profit food bank.
Feeding the Gulf Coast serves seven counties along the panhandle of Florida, including the areas most devastated by Hurricane Michael, Panama City and Mexico Beach. The catastrophic disaster of Hurricane Michael has resulted in families, seniors, children and even babies being without food and water to meet their most essential basic needs. Feeding the Gulf Coast is fully committing its efforts, staff and resources to reach those whose lives have been impacted and 100 percent of all designated donations will go to towards hunger relief in areas impacted by Hurricane Michael.
Thursday, Oct. 25 is Senior Appreciation Day at the Fair, and senior citizens ages 55 and up will get in for $6 all day. Fair exhibits, vendors and most concessionaires will open at 2 p.m. The fair closes at 11 p.m.
